Everything the standard reload does, plus a solution to the problem every stapling surgeon knows — tissue that creeps out of the jaw as the staples form. The Gecko Claw surface resists both lateral and longitudinal movement, so the tissue that was measured is the tissue that gets stapled.
The channel of the I-beam is polished at the bend, which reduces friction as the tissue enters and leaves the jaw.
